Okay, to start with... I haven't disappeared! There's just been soooo much going on recently and lets be serious here, easter ain't no holiday when you are doing A-levels. Today is also my 18th birthday which is v v v exciting and for my birthday I got the Macbook Pro Retina, which hopefully means better quality posts and more of them.
Anyway, I'm here to let you know my latest loves and loathes from the drugstore and they have been truly tried and tested.

So lets start on a positive note and start with my loves!
1. L'Oreal True Match Foundation.
1. L'Oreal True Match Foundation.
I've had heard so many great reviews on this foundation and kept putting it off for the £10.99 price tag. So one day in super drug i was feeling spendy and decided to treat myself and I'm so so happy i did. This foundation is amazing. My skin is a bit of everything, kind of oily, kind of normal and kind of dry so its hard to find a foundation that suits it but this does. Its a medium to build-able coverage which is especially good for nights out or bad skin days. Their colour range is really good and I would defo recommend it, even ask for a tester in store if you aren't sure. BIG LOVE.
2. L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara
2. L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara
My lashes find it hard to hold a curl and mascara always seems to transfer onto my lids after a while. I knew I wanted to try out a waterproof mascara for its staying power and to try and hold the curl in my lashes. I really like this mascara, it gives you a full lash effect and doesn't move at all. I think its around the £7.99 price tag but I really do think its worth it.
3. Garnier Moisturisers.
3. Garnier Moisturisers.
I don't have a big skincare routine but moisturisers are an essential to keep my skin hydrated and healthy. I was using a moisturiser that was around the £8/9 mark and was very little product for the price so i went on the hunt for an alternative. I stumbled across these which had a range of 5 different types to choose from but wanted chose the dull skin and light soft for those days that I needed a deep nourishment or just a light moisture. These are amazing and the best thing is i got each of them for £2 each. YES £2.
4. Garnier Micellar Water and Eye Make-up Remover.
4. Garnier Micellar Water and Eye Make-up Remover.
These are the only other products I use in my skincare routine. The micellar water to remove my face makeup with a cotton pad and then then eye makeup remover for when I'm wearing waterproof mascara. These are simply fab and are repurchases of mine because i love them that much. Not much to say except they are so gentle, really remove makeup quickly and easily and are a great price.
5. MUA lipsticks.
5. MUA lipsticks.
I swear by these lipsticks. I would even use them over some of my MAC lipsticks because the quality is so amazing. The mattes are my favourite from the collection and the nude colour is a dupe for 'Velvet Teddy' by MAC. They are so moisturising, long lasting and look so good on the lips. Want to know the best thing about these lipsticks? They are £1 each. Yep, £1. 90p if you have a student discount card. You really can't be bad to that. Even better if you take them on a night out and loose them, you won't be crying at the fact you've lost your expensive lipstick.
Now onto the loathes. There's not as many loathes as loves which is good.
1. CO. Lab Dry Shampoo.

1. CO. Lab Dry Shampoo.
This was a real disappointment because i had heard such a hype on Youtube about it. Thank goodness i bought the smaller size so at least it won't be going to waste. I felt it left a dirty texture in my hair and was very thick in my hair instead of being fine and not noticeable. The smell was the only positive of it which was fresh and classic but unfortunately i won't be re-purchasing this again and ill stick to my batiste for my dry shampoo needs.
2. L'Oreal Brow Artist Gel.
2. L'Oreal Brow Artist Gel.
I have tried working with this product to make it work but unfortunately i couldn't. I was expecting it to be pigmented and to to shape and define my brows but it was the opposite. There was no real difference or results after using it which was disappointing as this wasn't the cheapest option i could have chosen from. It may work well for others but for what i was wanting it didn't work out.
